Something Really Sneaky is Going On Here

Nicodemon keeps telling me that I loved to smoke. I did not. I think I partly smoked as much as I did because I was so anxious about my failed attempts to quit smoking. I hated smoking! The chronic bronchitis, the stinky apartment, the killing my cat. Funny, even my cat coughed the first few days I quit smoking. The bottom line is that my best friend couldn't take it when I started talking about my chest x-rays and the fact that one of these days it was not going to come back normal. I looked up and saw here face and knew that she would just die if I came down with lung cancer. For the first time, I realize just how much my friend really loved me. I realize that I still may die from lung cancer, but I vow not to die with a cigarette hanging from my mouth. So Nicodemon, I'm gonna fight you. You will not rob me of my self-esteem. Get mad at Nicodemon. Kick his arse. Show him who's boss. Show him who is in charge of your mind, body & soul. If you want, I can help. I love kickin' some Ol' Nicodemon arse. bgaineshunter... You are on the road to taking your life back from the horrors of smoking. Keep taking one step at a time and keep believing in yourself. You can beat that horrible nicodemon. Remember everything he says is a lie. You didn't love being controlled by a cigarette, just one is too many and 1,000 will never be enough. Hang on to your quit with all your might and remember NOPE. Not One Puff Ever. That is how we all quit.
