You are right. Smoking wouldn't get even with him. The poison goes in YOUR lungs. Look at this episode as a test. By finding new ways to cope and by staying strong and pushing beyond the anger you pass the test. You prove to yourself that you have self-discipline. Simply realizing that you 'can cope' without smoking gives you your power back. The strength that you aquire each time you deny an urge to cave will build upon itself (if you stay quit) and eventually you will become more self-confident than you EVER were as a dependant smoker. So just keep breathing s l o w l y and don't forget to concentrate on the big picture. And don't foeget to reward 'rational you' ;) All the best~ 2 My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/20/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 318 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,008 Amount Saved: $1590 Life Gained: Days: 30 Hrs: 5 Mins: 35 Seconds: 53
