That is Great fen!!! Go ahead and look at all this site and do the stuff it says. We will be here for you. You can join the June-bugs if you are quiting today, so read our thread called June-bugs roll call. You are very welcome. We have a great group and we are very there for each other. Anyways, this is not an easy thing, but it is a possible thing. It is a thing that you will be so glad you did for the rest of your life!! Hi fen, Welcome to the SSC and congratulations on deciding to kick the habit! Ok first things first; prepare for your quit using the program. Quitting smoking is not only a habit, it's an addiction. This program is going to help you plan how to deal with cravings and more importantly teach you how to replace this old habit with a new one. You'll also need to put into place a reward system. It should have three components: small one for after each craving, medium for the end of each smoke-free day and a bigger one for the end of each smoke-free week. Start reading through the forums, you'll be able to find a lot of tips and tricks to help you along the way. Good luck & check back soon, Danielle ____________________________________ The SSC Support Team

Good Luck Fen! This is mostly a mental battle. There are lots of things to help with the temporary physical battle, but the mental one is longer lasting (I think). By working your own quit program (to the left) and reading and posting here (through the good, bad, and the ugly), you'll get there. fen, don't feed your computer through the window. It will only feed the worms ;p Have you set your personal profile. Go to My Glove Compartment on the left side of the screen. Click here Then go to the top right screen of the screen that appears. Press change my personal settings Put yur Quit date end with all the rest of the info requested- # of cigs you smoked per day etc. Click Okay. Then come back and try to use the Quit Meter. I won't press the Show My Quit Meter button on this reply, since you can't show me yours. I am still with you, though. Welcome fen! We're twin quitters! This is so doable. Smoking dreams are very common. Be gentle with yourself.
