i went for dinner with a friend...the one i've mentioned before, that we said together to quit,he did it but i didn't. Since last November. anyway, last night i realised that for the last 3 days i've been smoking without control.Maybe more than i did before... I don't even know how much i'm smoking. Last night i was suffering for a terrible headache... my mouth is like rubber every morning... I set my quit day on 1st September. Just to have something in mind. But i think it will be earlier. Good morning from sunny, hot and emptry city of Athens Kate My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: -22 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: 0 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: 0

Hi Kate, Take some time prior to the commencement of your quit to strengthen your quit plan. Pull out the strategies that worked well for you and new ones for the triggers that contributed to your relapse. As the day gets closer, starting cutting out cigaretter and implementing your quit plan. Forming the routines before your quit will smooth the transition. We can't wait to celebrate your first smoke free day! Keep strong, Danielle ____________________________ The SSC Support Team

Looking forward to your quit. Although I had gone back to smoking I still came here and read. It helped. I have gone cold turkey this time. It seems a little easier. I read a book by allen carr and it seemed to help. I also reworked the tools here. I am just taking it minute by minute sometimes. You take care.
