Kate, For me day 3 was the hardest and it all happened in the evening. If today happens to be the hardest for you remember the next day after the hardest is so much easier. Good morning again from beautiful Athens! I am "sleep-free" and smoke-free again today! LOL No,it's just happened and didn't sleep.... But i chose not to smoke. I think yesterday it was more easy. Cravings started at 5pm...but kept myself busy.. Then later in the evening thought to light one...but only for the habit..not because i wanted it! I didn't! It's better already!! :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/19/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 2 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 20 Amount Saved: 5.6 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 3 Mins: 32 Seconds: 6

Athens Greece!!! The summer is here! I had my cravings as usual in the afternoon. However,i took a late nap so didn't really feel it very strong. I got up,took a shower, went to the gym and it all went away. No more need to smoke later in the evening. In general i don't have sleep problems. It all seems to work normally...except a little soar throat! day 4 started...... let's see how it will go... HealerWithin suggested a natural product ... melatonin to help with sleep and it has worked really well. I find that being well rested helps to fight back and to keep a positive attitude. Hi Kate, Wow! Athens, Greece or Athens Georgia?? I want to go to Greece someday, but I'd also love to be in Georgia during peach season! I've had a very hard time going to sleep since I quit the nicotine. I am going to get some melatonin tomorrow and see if it helps me. Aren't you proud of yourself? You've gone 2 whole days without one death stick! 20 of those nasty weeds not smoked. Keep it up. 2 days is a great start! Kate, You are on the right track! Try the hot bath and good book method before bed and ease into your sleep. Congrats on day 2! Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
