Technical question about quit meter

19 years ago 0 311 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Thanks Casey, but its actually more simple than that even. On my quit meter on this post, it says money saved is %61.75, correct for the number of days quit. On the installed Quit Meter on my desktop, it says $saved is only %49.40, and my quit date is the same. On the stats below it says 1 yr gained, but on my desktop it says 1 day. I thought these would both be the same, since they are both SSC. OK Casey, scratch the part about life gained, I was reading it backwords. Sorry. But the money is still off by $12.00. That one I can't figure out. Don't go out of your way, it really is not a big deal. I was just curious :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 13 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 278 Amount Saved: $61.75 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 4 Mins: 3 Seconds: 53

I was wondering if anyone knows why my installed quit meter is incorrect? The money saved and life gained is completely wrong, and different than my stats on the website. Yes, it is strange, it is the SSC quit meter, and the info I gave it is exactly the same as my stats on the message board. I can't figure it out. I had that problem with a different installed quit meter, not the SSC one you can download. In it, it said how much did you spend per day per pack of xx. On the SSC one here, it just says how much did you spend per day? So, that difference caused me to enter incorrect amounts. It took me MONTHS to figure out what was wrong. However, I don't know why it would change your life gained. The only thing I can think of is if you downloaded a meter other than the SSC meter, they may calfulate it differently. Hope you figure it out. Crave the Quit!
