Hold onto those memories, Kat, they will keep you quit. It's so great that you are quitting in your 20s, I would think your body would heal itself faster. Keep that great quit, Andrea My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 97 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,946 Amount Saved: $460.75 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 4 Mins: 25 Seconds: 57

Hi all, usually by this time in a quit (because I have had sooo many) I have forgotten how gross it is to smoke and cave in but this time is different. I can vividly recall how bad my breath was, how offensive my stink must have been right after a cig. That horrible smokers cough that would errupt after every attempt at laughing...how gross. I must have sounded like an old woman considering i am in mid 20s. I no longer have to stand out in the cold and rain just to get my fix. I can breath better(aka without that weez) and walking does not cause me to be so out of breath that I pant like crazy. I can make more money at work because I am not always running out to smoke, and food tastes soooo good now. I no longer have to see the expression of sorrow on my non smoking boyfriends face when I constantly light up a smoke. Most of all I am not a slave to smoking anymore! This quit is for me and only me this is why this time is different and this time will be for real. staying smoke free here in san francisco!! best wishes kat My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 24 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 490 Amount Saved: $120 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 14 Mins: 55 Seconds: 5

thanks all!!! what an inspiration this sight is for me-really! Martha- I will remember the SFO smoking room for when the craves are bad...just imagining those poor folks sitting in that toxic air, and by choice, is more than enough to keep me smoke free. thank you all for the support kat :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 24 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 496 Amount Saved: $120 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 15 Mins: 20 Seconds: 19
