To change it, you just change your quit date. This will reset your meter? You need to go to your glove compartment to do that. Congrats on your decision to quit. Reading the posts here have been so helpful for me. My husband and I quit May 23 and he is having a much easier time with it than I also. He keeps himself distracted and does NOT want to talk about it, while I do. BTW, Circuit, you mention working for the courts and everyone around you smokes. I work for our police department as a detective and everyone I work with smokes as well. Most my co-workers are not very supportive, but I think it's because I work Internal Affairs---Whaddayathink? Okay, Okay....everyone here knows I had a slip and my meter should read only 4 days. I just can't seem to reset it, but I'm keeping a mental note. Hurstk, Why not write a letter of confession to yourself? As long as you've learnt from this experience, what you do with your quit meter is up to you. Try to choose the option that would best motivate you in your quit. Danielle ________________________________ The SSC Support Team

lilbeer, Congrats on your quit. I quit using the patch, I work for the Court System and everyone that works for me smokes. my Judges, everyone. I was really nervous but I had finally made up my mind to quit and did alot of research. This is the first time for me and my last. I smoked for 28 years about 1 pack a day. You can do it Noel My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 99 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,993 Amount Saved: $297 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 5 Mins: 4 Seconds: 27
