Great Post Fini!!!!!!!!!!! I can only add that at the end of the day stopping IS worth it. It cannot and does not help in any emotional, financial or medical situation. To regard it as a crutch or an excuse merely indicates that you dont really WANT to quit and if you dont really want to quit you are wasting your time and everyone else's!!! Lighting up will not help how can it? You are just committing yourself to the nightmares of the new quit. The fear of this is all that has kept me going sometimes these last few weeks. A simple statement but it took me 50 years of smokingto work it out. Phil (who had a lousy day yesterday but feels a bit better today!) Very wise words there Dutch Fini, If you don't mind I am going to print them off and place them in my Quit folder... I love little bits of encouragement like this, makes the quitting so much easier.. Most definately Dutch & BF, If you treat this like a struggle - it will be, like its punishment - you will not succeed!! Adjust your attitude toward your quit and beleive it - you will succeed. :) I am huge on affirmations and the power of positive thoughts, i beleive in myself, i love me enough to know i will never pick up another cigarette. Beleive that you will quit and you WILL. PrincessC :) x My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/11/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 22 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 526 Amount Saved: $224.4 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 20 Mins: 14 Seconds: 38

Hoi Fini It's good to be reminded once in a while! You're absolutely right, the power of positive thinking and happy thoughts is not to be underestimated. Great shame than that right now, it's bloody difficult!!! I'm farting a lot, gaining weight, wanting a cigarette, bad and short tempered. I'm sure there must be an 'upside' to this, o yeah, I'm still not smoking! kusje van je quit-zusje Brenda ps niet gelukt, probeer dit eens 1 woord, kleine letters, m'n voornaam gevolgd door harnett. Hoop dat dit lukt!
