Cuddles & Sparky, Think back to your slip/relapse. Why did you light that cigarette? What were you saying to yourself? What was going on around you? Understanding past behavior may help you change future behavior. For many smoking is an escape/avoidance behavior. What are you trying to escape or avoid? Congratulations to both of you for continuing to fight the good fight! Please let us know if we can help in any way. Danielle _________________________ The SSC Support Team

Hiya Cuddles. Well - here we are again huh? You know what to expect. This won't be easy for the first couple days, but it's something you can do. Heck, you have already done it. Keep your candy, straws and whatever nearby. Keep the Junkie Thinking and the 25 Great Reasons To Quit threads nearby. You are my quit buddy - as long as you never give up on yourself - I damn sure aint gonna. :) Bingo My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/23/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 172 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,448 Amount Saved: $516 Life Gained: Days: 24 Hrs: 17 Mins: 0 Seconds: 33

Hey cuddles... Bummer to hear your back to square one! That "Junkie" is doing it's thing to you. Rationalizing smoking. But you know better. You know it's not easy. Somehow... don't listen to it. You KNOW that is the right thing to do! N.O.P.E. Hi Cuddles - It's a tough journey, as you know, this Quit journey... AND it's possible and doable... You know what it takes, and you have plenty of support (you know that too)... Get yourself ready, get those coping skills out and keep a list of the best distractions in your back pocket to call on... Stay close and focus and get yourself really, really, (((really))) grounded in your Quit, and don't allow yourself to get thrown off this horse this time... Hold on tight, dear one. If you hold on tight, and prepare for the worst 'weather' YOU will be in the driver's seat, my friend! We're ready when you are :) Blessings and Light- Healer My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 221 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,757 Amount Saved: $1027.65 Life Gained: Days: 28 Hrs: 17 Mins: 48 Seconds: 41
