You are correct. Cheer me on when I get past the 3 week mark. That is when I caved under pressure. I took a nice long bath and the heat relieved the pain so hopefully it will be gone for good in a few days or so. I jsut know I am sleepy at the moment. BLAH! Ok...ended up back in the ER b/c the pain was unbearable...felt like Cal Ripkin Jr went thru my chest....I had been fighting bronchitis which has since cleared, coughing up the brown crud, and allergies so much, my breast bone & sternum / rib area is inflammed and sore...doc put me on naprosyn (sp?) and allergy meds but is there anything else that would help soothe that particular area? Doc did say it would take a week or 2 for it to return to normal but I am just tired of being sore =( Did any of y'all experience this? If so, what kind of home care did you use to treat yours? Hi Duckie067 - (we have to stop meeting like this) :) Ok - get some bath salts, apple cider vinegar and some candles. Yes, candles (and see below for one more ingredient). It's relaxing and clearing time, friend. A hot bath - add the bath salts (lavender is so relaxing) - add 1 cup of apple cider vinegar (it does alot of things, but in the moment I am looking to remove stress and lighten the energy in and around you) and yes, light some fragrant candles... Oh and if there is a Whole Foods or any health food store, pick up some peppermint or spearmint essential oil (one will do, or both is good)... While the bath water is running, add NO MORE than 2 drops of either essential oil... this is magic :) Dim those lights or turn them off - we are looking for gentle here... very gentle. Do the above in tandem with the doc's advice... The stress will leave you if you do this... Every night for a week or two... Blessings and Light- Healer My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 118 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,159 Amount Saved: $548.7 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 9 Mins: 55 Seconds: 55
