I am feeling better thanks to a little time 'off' for yours truly and all your responses, made me feel like WOW they know exactly what I am feeling and what it really is like to experience this crud... Thanks again island girl, you've helped more than you know today :) zyban (Linda) thank you! you said it -no rhyme or reason just ****!! niks thank you for your kind words, I aM glad to know I've made a difference :) and your 21 days is looking real sharp ;) Healer thank you so much, and what an awesome cupcake, yum! :) and wow you nailed it when you said -
We get to be human, we get to make mistakes, and get confused, and lose it on days, and on our Quit journey's we may even find ourselves all over the place - a piece here - another there, and some pieces may even seem like they're missing! (smile)...
You may or may not know the impact just that statement has on me. I am in truth spreading myself too thin these past few days. But I know I was whole to begin with; I think it is my perception of where I am that is fooling me...it's like I am here but then all of a sudden I leave and go over there and I am still here though, talk about being in and out of the moment at the same time, you get it. I also felt there were pieces missing. How funny, I laughed when I read this and cried too. Danielle Bless your heart and thank you! Julie thank you sweetheart. Coben that is the sweetest flower I've ever seen! Thank you so much for all your loving kindness :) I learned alot today and I am posting it in another thread. It will be called 'Breaking through Illusion and discovering the truth' and I have you all to thank as my inspirtion. Better get to the ice cream shoppe and see if any of my machines had a melt down LOL. Many Blessings, Love & Hugs, Eve :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 86 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 696 Amount Saved: $258 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 7 Mins: 36 Seconds: 29

ladybugg that was phenomenal. And that was exactly what I was feeling too!! Thank you for sharing that story with me. My perception of time caught up with me and I felt bad, not only because I was late on the boards but I was running late in my life too. I have that insatiable desire to help everyne and the rest of the world too and I know that just is not possible (at least while we are awake lol!). But for real you nailed it there too. I had a few really good 'wake up' moments today which had inspired me to write more about what has been illusive to me and trying to fool me into thinking I've got it all under control. I gave in when I realized I did not have any such time frame licked at all. So now I am going with the flow... I won't put my life on hold to be here, nor will I expect myself to be able to respond to every plea for help that comes through these boards, as much as I truly desire to help them all. I do expect that I will be guided to respond to whom I feel I need to share my words with and that I will be here to celebrate as much as possible but not to over-do it, like I am usually very good at doing. :) Thank you ladybugg, you sure are a fantastic inspiration to me and wish you would stay around, I've always known who you are. I just have this theory that anyone past one year is really out there living there lives and are so busy there is not much time for these boards any longer, but that is ok because you have all been leading the way for us for a long long time now....it should be time for y'all to celebrate and LIVE. And if I am smart I will take your advice, great words of wisdom, and allow others to pick up where I leave off because in truth we all have to live (and sleep too :) Thanks again ladybugg (remember to stop by for your sumMertime vanilla-melon splash!) :) Many Blessings, Eve :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 87 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 697 Amount Saved: $261 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 8 Mins: 3 Seconds: 9

Eve...
i try so hard to control everything in my life
How amazing the day we find out that we really can't control anything (or anyone)... :) I sure am learning that lesson through this amazing Quit journey. Aren't these lessons enlightening:) (smile) Embrace your Quit - embrace the journey and while you're at it, dear one, embrace your own humanity... Humanity is so messy, isn't it? We get to be human, we get to make mistakes, and get confused, and lose it on days, and on our Quit journey's we may even find ourselves all over the place - a piece here - another there, and some pieces may even seem like they're missing! (smile)... I still have days when I have no clue where that other piece of me is, so I just hold on to myself tightly (aren't those the days we need our own love and compassion more than ever?) and I know that it will all pass... Gentle down the energy around yourself, dear one... Breathe deeply... And surround yourself with gentle and calm :) Love and Blessings- Healer PS: I brought a beautiful home-made cupcake for ya :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 120 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,226 Amount Saved: $558 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 15 Mins: 55 Seconds: 31

Oh Eve -what a day you are having...but I have to tell you I have had days exactly like this...You are frustrated...take some deep breaths before you go out - try to relax and take things one thing at a time - somedays that's all we can do. We just can't be that multi-tasker superwoman every day - although I know that we all do try:)! If you feel like crying - that is certainly OK and sometimes that is the only thing that is going to help. A good cleansing cry - so go ahead and do it. If I was there I would wrap my arms around you and give you a big ol hug. Take it easy on yourself... Eve Sweetie, Your posts are always welcome, no matter when they come! Perhaps you might have missed one person's plea for help, but oftentimes, you ARE here when someone needs help and can offer it just at the right moment. Or, you come here just at the right time to say "You made it!" even if you weren't there when they were craving. And as for the congratulations, it doesn't matter when you post those. Those congratulations really do mean a lot to people, no matter when you post it. I know you're in a later time zone than a lot of people, but that doesn't mean that you can't, or don't, still help people even if the crisis has past. Please don't be mad at yourself or the site for things that cannot be helped. It sounds to me like this is more than just being late for congratulations and help threads. Is there something going on that is upsetting you that is causing this anger? Perhaps a nice walk or something will make you feel better. Pamper yourself well today because you deserve it for those 86 days that you have! Way to go! Just remember, you ARE appreciated, no matter when your posts are posted! :) Crave the Quit!
