Wello done for your first day Kate. First 7 days are tough, but you can do it, and get through it. Well done for not smoking and for posting here instead. I had headaches and felt like a space case a lot of the first week, they say that is because the carbon monoxide is leaving your body and oxygen is in your brain for the first time. Stick with the quit, we will be with you all the way! kate The first couple of days are the hardest and the fact that you got through day 1 is very commendable. If you feel yourself craving take some deep breaths and stick with the ice cold water....both of these techniques worked a treat for me in the first couple of days....and still do to this day actually! Good luck, keep it up and let us know how youre getting on kolativey My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 7 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 87 Amount Saved: 35 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 15 Mins: 44 Seconds: 48

so far so good. It's almost 3pm and i have less than one hour to go home! It was an easy morning... I wasn't smoking in office anyway, could go out sometimes but didn't feel the urge today. Let's see how this afternoon will go. I know my cravings are between 5-7pm... AT 7 i go to the gym.... I'll let you know how it will go :8|: My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/19/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 13 Amount Saved: 2.8 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 2 Mins: 13 Seconds: 27

Athens Greece!!! The summer is here! I had my cravings as usual in the afternoon. However,i took a late nap so didn't really feel it very strong. I got up,took a shower, went to the gym and it all went away. No more need to smoke later in the evening. In general i don't have sleep problems. It all seems to work normally...except a little soar throat! day 4 started...... let's see how it will go.... :| My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/19/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 30 Amount Saved: 8.4 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 5 Mins: 15 Seconds: 24
