Hi Marie, Thanks, you have been so very supportive. I am hanging in there. lol with my heart racing a 100 miles an hour, am actually more concerned about the physical withdrawls right now that actually wanting to smoke. Gosh, i feel like im on some bizarre roller coaster ride. Made an appoint with doc tomorrow :8o: Anyway thanks Marie ur really helping me get through this. I was in the caferteria at lunch watching the regular smokers brave it in the cold wind and rain (i cant beleive i used to do the same). A fellow workmate (who is on her 5th week) asked how my quit was going. Maybe im alluding myself but i am in the mindset that smoking for me is not an option and although i crave the cig, i know that i physically will not purchase a pack nor will i ask anyone for one (am reminding myself about the first 2 days of the quit omg!!), i know its just something my body has to get used to. I was disheartened when she said "i had better not see you smoking", there... right at that very moment i felt like a failure. Until that very moment i never really considered to smoke again. Perhaps her own fears or relapse? Princess C I'm sure she meant well, maybe she was a little insecure thinking that if you smoked it would be harder for her. The brain works in mysterious ways, don't let these things get to you, you are doing so well almost a week hell week will be over soon Hang in there :)Marie My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 34 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 524 Amount Saved: $136 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 14 Mins: 43 Seconds: 44

Hurray for you for a whole week of freedom! Know how youre feeling? Sort of out of it? Maybe youre co-worker is feeling the same way and isnt thinking before she speaks. Dont worry about her - WE all believe in you. Not cravin', never cavin'.
