Glad you're back Kate. I've restarted my quit too. We know what to expect so you never can tell -- it just might be a little easier this time to get thru the physical withdrawel (was for me). Water helped me the most and also just getting up & walking a bit. Even if it was just a lap around the house. Let's make a pact to keep at it -- KEEP QUIT -- and get this disgusting addiction behind us once and for all! Ericon

Starting again today! Good day to you all! it's sunny, fresh and beautiful in Athens! I am really fed up with this thing! I want it out of my system! but with my non smoker friend and keeping myself busy it will be better. Yesterday i got all my sugar free candies... different flavors, filled my purse with them! I didn't wake up in a good mood this morning..and i'm thinking that it's going to be tough. But i want to fight it. I don't want it anymore. And i will do all my best to finish with this thing, I'm leaving this afternoon. I'll have internet access from there as well!! A big hug to you All!!! Kate, Keep persevering! You can do this! Keep your coping mechanisms at the ready and be kind to yourself. Spoil yourself with anything that may make you feel better. Congratulations on your first smoke free day! We are proud of you! Danielle ___________________________ The SSC Support Team

Hiya Kate! I know how you feel. That first day was rough for me. There's a reason it's called Hell Week! For me, what really helped was focusing on the reason I wanted to quit: My Health. It really was killing me. Honestly. Right Now. Not 30, 40, or 50 years down the road... Right Now it was killing me. I honestly know you can do this. Just let yourself believe it as well. :) I'm sending you all the strength I can!
