Thank you once more! I just realised that people who never owned a dog cannot understand how it is. Thank you all for being around supporting me for this loss. I can still hear the sounds..i still open the kitchen's door in the morning to see him running up the stairs... I'm thinking to go to the vet, to thank him for all that he did and for the phone calls i made to him late in the night or during the weekends.. for running around with me and my buddy. And slowly "close" this circle! a Big Hug to you all! Kate

Kate I pray that your pain will ease with time. Enjoy your memories; I am sure there are many. The lost of a pet is very personal and some people just don't get it. We lost Sugar, our dog, several years ago and I still miss her. Praying that you get back to your quit soon. Take care. Hiya Kate. I feel so badly for you. I totally sympathize with what you are going through. I had a pug for many, many years. She was the coolest dog. She just always hung around, never really demanding anything but always there. She outlasted several girlfriends and many moves. She never had any ideas that she was a "small" dog. For a while we lived behind a farm and she would go out every now and then and chase the cows around. It was hilarious. 2 years ago she passed away and it was just terrible. First time I'd cried in a long, long time. Here's why I'm sharing this with you: I happened to see an advertisement that there was a meet up of local pug owners in the area just last weekend. I decided to swing by there since it was nearby and get a "pug fix" plus I thought it'd be pretty funny to see a bunch of pugs all hanging out together. So I go down there, and yeah it was hilarious seeing all these pugs flying around in this park. At one point I sit down with a group of folks and this one female pug that was very similiar to my old one comes right over to me and plops herself right down on my lap. She even did it exactly like mine used to do, climb onto my lap, turn around once, plop her butt down on my right leg and just sort of collapse. :) It was actually very disconcerting at first, but then I just started petting her and we sat like that for about 20 minutes. It was very cool. My old pug came to visit and let me know she was alright. :) It'll be okay. I promise. Be happy for him. He'll come to check on you now and then.
