Well, I can't say my doctor doesn't kick butt. I had the PET scan this afternoon - 1pm. Got out about 3pm. Got home, and at 4:30 my pulmonologists office called and said the results of the scan were negative for cancer!! WOooooo Hoooo! Now, this isn't absolute, but it is extremely accurate. I do have to have a followup PET in 3 months, then 6 then 12, etc. However, the chances have now dropped to slim that this is cancer! I'm very, very happy and relieved. And no, I never smoked through any of this. Thank you all for your help, support, good vibes, everything. It has meant so very much to me.
