Hi Cinda, good for you not giving in! I seem to have a lot more arguments with my b.f when i quit smoking i often wonder if I do it deliberately as an excuse to smoke. I am on day 8 now and it is definately getting better. I did wake up this morning first thing, and forgot i was a non smoker... for a few minutes... but i didnt smoke, I didnt have any not to smoke. Well done, we are with you all the way! Cinda You are doing brilliantly. It is very hard to maintain the quit after words with a partner....as i know, but the fact that you did not smoke shows great determination and willpower. Well done, keep it up kolativey My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 7 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 87 Amount Saved: 35 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 15 Mins: 44 Seconds: 4

Tonight is a struggling. I made up my mind, no smokeing, but I should would like to (well, not really). I had "words" with my boyfriend and it really pushed me close to picking up a cigarette. So now I am eatting a greens salad, drinking diet coke, and playing a game to distract my thinking. cinda, the first Friday is always hard. It will get easier. You'll become use to doing weekend things without smoking. Remember Lance's (the bike guy) "Live Strong" motto. It carries him and it will carry you. had a few heavy cravings today, myself- not to hard to beat down- after finding 15 fresh cigs last night-destroying them, instead of smoking them You Can LIKE So Do This "Live Strong!" :8|: My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/12/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 5 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 197 Amount Saved: $32.5 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 10 Mins: 40 Seconds: 16

Good job for not caving. It would do nothing but make you feel miserable anyway so its just not worth it. You are strong, keep your mind busy and keep your quit! Cinda, How are you doing today?? What a great job you did last night for leaving the situation. Just keep occupying your mind with other things. This is how this game of not smoking is played. Keep busy and please don't forget the ice water. Congratulations on your 6 days that is awesome. Cinda, alway come to SSC and ask for help. Just like you did last tonight. We are family an you are not alone. We are always here to help you 24-7, isn't that wonderful to know that you can always reach out to someone. SSC, has so much to offer so use it all. You simply cannot smoke tonight Cinda. Because tomorrow you celebrate one week. At one week you get a fabulous reward of your choice! BUT...you can only have it if you are still quit. So....what's your reward? Seven days is awesome and deserves a good one! Keep it going....
