I pledge to be smoke free this weekend! I will work very hard to continue to embrace my quit for I am important and I am somebody! I will not let minor things get to me nor will I allow the nicodemon whisper to me to cave in. Instead, I will reaffirm my quit with my coping skills!! I will continue to eat healthy, drink plenty of fluids, and take one step at a time. I will smile, laugh, take deep breaths, and remember why I am a non smoker. If I see someone struggling, I will offer my friendship to help pull that special person thru. Yes, I will be smoke free! Hi G!! I am not sure where she was at but I have to toot my little horn. There was a commercial on the tv this morning that dealt w/ kicking the addiction of smoking. I sat there, like a bump on a log, and had a kodak moment. They were showing people who had quit and seeing the joy on their faces. I jumpe dup, ran to the mirror, and looked for that joy. I saw that joy, the sparkle in my eyes, and realized this *IS* the final quit. I started having that kodak moment and cracked up laughing!! We should all be very proud of ourselves. Yes, we should!! *whispers* Shhh--tell no one I am a goofball!
