Hi, Chantal, I too speak French and left you a note to that effect, but it was removed because we aren't supposed to be writing in French. If you want to leave me a message, I will give you my e-mail address so we are not corresponding in French here. Hope you are doing better.

Lavic, Hi Lavic, My name is Michelle and I too am from Canada. I have found this site to be a great resource and the people on the site are very supportive and helpful. I have 2 children as well and work full time. I just went back to work 1 month ago and found that the symptoms were worse when off too. I have panic disorder with agraphobia as well. I was seeing a holistic therapsit which did help alot and use the panic program which has been very challenging but very helpful in concuring the symptoms. I still have panic attacks but not all of the time. Looking forward to talking to you again. Michelle ;p

Woke up with a panic attack along with uncontrolable crying over the fact that I wanted to go to a simple social getogether. I have no friends and I was hoping to reach out to someone. I can't seem to find any Social Anxiety Disorder group in my home town of Austin,TX. I do see a shrink, just to get the meds I need to keep me from going over the edge, again. I haven't found a therapist that I trust yet (not that I could afford one) Please give me advise to get over my social phobias. Thank you.

Hi, Chantal! Welcome to the site and to the group. ÃŽ invite you to look around the site, and also to read posts. Not everyone has severe symptoms. Perhaps you can take the free Anxiety Test and then print out the results. It might help you to get to know things about yourself and if you want to consult a doctor, it would be a useful tool to bring along to the meeting. Noise and crowds are common complaint situations in anxiety and panic. The Panic Program can offer some treatment help to you. -- Anne-Marie, Site Administrator

Hi ! My name is Chantal and I'am from Canada ! I started having mini panic attacks in stores and restaurants last summer. I thought I was going nuts ! I'am married and we have two small kids and I also work full-time. I first, I thought I was just stressed-out so I took some time off and it seems the feelings of anxiety and panic just got worst. Everytime I go in store or anywhere with lost of people, I feel like I just want to run away...where I can get some fresh air. I don't have those '' heart attack'' feeling that everybody talks about. I just feel like I'am loosing control and I get dizzy and it's just weird ! Je parle français- pour ceux et celles qui veulent me répondre en français ! Help ! :)Text
