Tina - for me the first 3 days were horrible. I kept having thoughts like you are having.
Something that I did when I REALLY wanted to smoke was take a hot bath and take a nap. You can't smoke if you're sleeping :) Try and maybe give your teenager a reward for helping you through. Say, maybe have a date night together and go to a movie when you are at 30 days. If you make it a team effort maybe your teenager will be rooting for you a little bit more...and it might also help you too. Having a person to support you and also someone to let down. Just suggestions...but please don't smoke. You know you don't want to and its really not worth it. Quitting might be a powerful example to set for your kid. he/she might see how difficult it is for you and respect you and look up to how strong you are...in turn it will hopefully deter them from ever smoking.

Way to go Tina, you did great. Keep your mind occupied and treat yourself to some "my time" and most of all if you have to....YELL and SCREAM and get it all out. You can even go to your own room to do that and then sit back and wonder what your teenagers are thinking now....lol. Hmmm, maybe we should do that anyway, keep them on their toes....lol. Congratulations Tina on getting through this, keep happy thoughts in your head you deserve this quit.
