hello guys,i've not been around for the last few days since i have a problem with my internet connection and i can only connect with a slow connection, which doesn't open the pages and breaks my nerves. This makes me more nervous since i want to post and i can't..i want to read your posts and it's impossible. i've been feeling really down these last days... i'm fighting with it a lot...i'm happy though because there are no cigs at home... if there were i think i would take one. I feel good that i don't smoke..i work out regularly...i don't smell bad... but i feel nervous...sad...with bad thoughts and ready to fight with everyone most of the times... pfff.... When you quit smoking you may suffer from a lot of different withdrawals like feeling depressed, not being able to sleep, getting cranky, frustrated, or mad, feeling anxious, nervous, or restless, having trouble thinking clearly, feeling hungry or gaining weight. Know that how you are feeling is normal during this time in your quit. Be patient and gentle with yourself. Reward yourself often. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Remember, Rome was not built in a day. Hi Kate, Sorry to hear of your frustrations with the Internet. I hope that you manage to get round the problem somehow. Try to be strong, remember why you decided to quit, think of how you have achieved so much by getting through these tough few days. If you give in now, what then? Go through the whole painful process again? Or alternatively, return to a life of slavery? I promise you that things will get better. .. and if you are the Kate I think you are, enjoy the beautiful Greek weather! Kate - A good thing to do is make a journal...this is a copy of all the posts that are helping you so when you can't get on the computer you can read those. I'm sorry that you are having a hard time on the web with your computer - it's very frustrating! But when that happens - get up, walk outside and breathe in deep. Over and over. It helps me relax in a good way! We are with you and I know that you are a strong woman who can own her quit! Hello Kate, I know of what you speak, I have dile up internet and it takes forever to get anywhere on the internet....But don't let that bother you too much....Be determined and stay strong, this journey is not an easy on but it is possible... I also with I could be at the sea today. After you leave the office maybe you could do something you really enjoy doing. I'm glad that you are getting exercise. That is a good stress reliever. And it also keeps the brain thinking of other things. kate remember why you quit, and drink lots of water. I'm thinking of you kate...
