Hi Marie, Thank you for sharing. It is a very true post. Just like N2K said, you cannot be happy-happy, joy-joy all of the time. But I have found, for me, that embracing it makes it much easier. Whatever life throws at me, I try to find the positive. Sometimes I venture the wrong way, but I do find my way back. It is less exhausting this way! 4my2girls My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 222 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,673 Amount Saved: $725.94 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 21 Mins: 35 Seconds: 38

No matter how hard we try, no one can be happy-happy, joy-joy ALL the time. *except for my dog, ha!* However, happiness is a function of accepting what is and Mark Twain once said, "the best way to cheer yourself up is to try to cheer someone else up." Ya know, I was just saying on another thread. If youre going to be able to look back on something and laugh about it, you might as well laugh about it now, huh?
