Hi guys - again thanks for letting me ramble on last night, lol. Yes, ex-slave and Casey - I really did think I was developing insomnia! Last night was a bit better though. I will try to stick to a regular sleeping schedule. Lol, yes Maria, I also noticed that about the Sopranos. I just keep flashing back to a scene where a young girl was puffing away on her cigarette and she was telling Tony she didn't eat tuna because of all the "chemicals" or "toxins." I catch Supernova sometimes too Tresa (your meter stat is amazing by the way)- favorite is Lucas :) Thanks, as always, for all the support! OK since I'm really having a bad craving tonight, I decided to hop on here and type some gibberish for a bit. How are all of you? Good? Good! :) Any special plans for the evening? After surfing the internet, I think I'll watch some reruns on tv, or maybe I'll put one of my Soprano's dvd's in - (Tony doesn't smoke either). Then I'll probably fall asleep, wake up, fall asleep - (which I've been doing a LOT of the last 3 days - is this normal?), then wake up in the morning to go work. Do a lot of you work with the public? This probably would explain why a lot of us smoked ;) Ok, I think that helped a bit. Sorry you had to hear me ramble on. But thanks for listening. Ramble away Thea... that is why this site is here. Take some deep breaths and drink a lot of ice water. You are doing great! Congratulations on your 3 days. Keep taking one step at a time. It takes time but quitting is worth it. Hi Thea, sleep disturbances are a very common nicotine withdrawal symptom. I had alot of problems falling asleep. I take tylenol PM occassionally and the natural sleep aid, melationin (health food store). I guess this will pass and our sleeping habits will return to normal. It is part of the healing process. Hang in there. Did you think that you could go 3 whole 24 hours periods without a cig??? Well, you are doing it!
