((((((((((((hug))))))))))))
Kerin,
I am so sorry you are having a tough time but if I remember right I had a REALLY bad day about 9 or 10 days into my quit. Cried all dang day long, didn't like life, didn't like anyone but boy did I think a cigarette would make it better.
I had a great support person and she called me up and said I am coming to pick you up and we are going to her boy's baseball game. Normally I loved to go with her but that day I didn't want to do anything but be depressed. So you see you have to physically get out of that mind set, just get up go outside, take some deep breaths, take a walk, go take a bath, pick up a book...anything to get your mind off of it. Once I went with her, it a took a bit, but I was better and so thankful that she did that the next day.
Use this site too...you can do almost (giggle) anything you want on here and you can't scare us away. Always remember that the mind is the most powerful muscle that we have but WE have to work it the right way. Just don't give up, you are doing so well, keep telling yourself...."yes I can, yes I can". I know you really want this and sometimes we have to work hard for the things we want.
I will be sending only good and positive thoughts your way. Thinking positively is hard but can be done. I hope you have a good weekend and be nice to yourself...you deserve it, you are doing a wonderful thing for your life....cherish it.
