I hope that you did not allow your friend to smoke in the house. If they want to smoke while visiting you, ask them to please go outside. That way, you can wait inside; not have to watch them smoke and stir up a tempting situation. Plus, you don't want that stinky smoke getting in your furniture, your curtains, your clothes, etc. Sleep as much as you can. It will get better. My thoughts are with you.
