Headache today...

18 years ago 0 290 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
hello everybody, sunny and warm Athens today with a baaad headache.Don't know if it's because of it but it's bad. My dinner was good yesterday...i went with a friend for a drink before that,he doesn't smoke either...So it was good and easy. However a friend passed by earlier and she just smoked 2cigs..and i must admit that it was a temptation to me. It's so much better with people who don't smoke. It's my 5 day... and i am not "afraid" for the weekend... :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/3/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 4 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 41 Amount Saved: 11.2 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 6 Mins: 59 Seconds: 8

Hi kate! Congratulations on 5 Days!!!! :) Headaches are a pretty common withdrawl symptom, you may want to read up on the tools to your left. It could also be from the smoke that was blowing around you from that smoking friend of yours :p Hang in there and try to avoid hanging around friends who still smoke, at least for now until you are more confident to be around other smokers without feeling that temptation. I hope your head feels better, keep us posted! Many Blessings, Eve :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 90 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 721 Amount Saved: $270 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 13 Mins: 54 Seconds: 39

Kate, I hope that you did not allow your friend to smoke in the house. If they want to smoke while visiting you, ask them to please go outside. That way, you can wait inside; not have to watch them smoke and stir up a tempting situation. Plus, you don't want that stinky smoke getting in your furniture, your curtains, your clothes, etc. Sleep as much as you can. It will get better. My thoughts are with you.
