Driving

To handle your driving fear, behavior modification involves develop0ing a plan of some sort. YOu haven't said what happens, whether you drive at all or not, etc. If it seems overwhelming, have you tried taking baby steps and doing one little thing at a time in order to cope with it? -- Anne-Marie, Site Administrator

Did you stop the car and pull over? Did you get out? Perhaps you kept on driving? How did you handle it when the panic attack hit? This message was edited by am on 7-1-02 @ 4:09 PM

Hi, Tank. Panic attacks are not fun, but they can be managed. Can you tell us what you did when the panic attack happened? -- Anne-Marie, Site Administrator

One day I was driving down the road and that's when the panic attack hit me. I've been having panic attacks for about 1 year now.
