Wow - thanx Duckman. Sometimes I do think about writing about adventures in Guatemala or travelogues, or how it is to be nearly 60 and camping on a beach each year for a month in Costa Rica....then I get busy with harvesting vegetables, gathering eggs, teaching Spanish at the tiny school on the island where we live, and being in charge of an Alzheimers Mom, and think "WHERE would I find the time?" Like stopping smoking, I would have to MAKE time - no time is better than now. Thanx for the inspiration. Enough kicks of encouragement from myself and others, and I just might try it! A non-smoking writer is no longer an oxymoron! Your writing ability combined with your insight, wisdom, and emotions are the best I have seen in some time. Good writers stand out just like good athletes and you are a four star writer. I suggest if your current career is lacking that you pursue journalism. Good ones are hard to find. By the way based on your last writing it should be required reading for all. Congratulations on a job well done.
