I have an awful sore throat and I have for the last few weeks!!! I feel like I have a cold and I just want to die. You are not alone!!!!! I just have to think of it as my body is adjusting and repairing from all the damage I did. I do not want to smoke and have to go through this again. Just do not smoke!!! If you cannot handle it maybe go visit the Doctor and see if he can help you with a plan!! Hang in there!!! Awww Kate, I'm sorry you're not feeling well. You definitely should be proud, and hang in there, you WILL feel better soon. How about something like an ice pop for your throat? You are doing just fine and you have a lot of folks here rooting for you! :) I like the kool-pop/popsickle/ice cream idea!

You will get ill even though you have quit smoking. Right after I quit I was sick for awhile - sore throats especially - and I have no tonsils! Your body is recovering from all the smoking damage. It will take time to mend and for you to feel better. Fight hard and don't worry, you will get stronger each day that goes by. Congratulations on 15 days, That's Terrific Kate. Kate. It sounds like you are doing great. I was extremely dizzing off and on during the first couple of months of my quit. Your body is really going through a lot of changes right now. You are beginning to heal from the years of the abuse smoking caused. Be patient. You will progress forward and soon these days will be behind you. A life free from the enslavement of smoking is an awesome thing to be proud of. Congratulations on your 2 weeks. You have every right to be proud of yourself! You are a great quitter! Hang tough Kate - you might have a bug or it could be quit symptoms. Either way smoking will just make it worse in the long run. You can do this Kate - you can. Talk to yourself and let yourself know that will you? Thanks! We're here Kate - Don't smoke. This will pass.
