Sparky: Golly I feel so guilty for not being here! I was *hanging my head in shame* at the Mexican fiesta eating leftover congealed hens off of Marie's plate. (?) I have been to many an AA meetings in my time. My ex-husband and two of my children have a propensity towards that particular addiction! Yes, my heart goes out to you, because most AA and NA meetings are filled with coffee drinking smokers! However, I recently met the most interesting woman in our drug courts. She is using the 12 steps to quit smoking. She had gone 100 days! I am soooo glad that you made it through and that you had a friend with you. Are there some non-smoking meetings you can attend? In any event, I AM PROUD OF YOU!!! :) Day 5 tomorrow! Let's get some rest! I am home and did not smoke. The old mind set sure was in full force though. After walking out of the meeting and the few that smoke, wow!! I must admit the smell of those cig smelled good  But I said my good nights and got into the car and hurried home. I don't want to blow this for a darn cig or a puff. So for today I am smoke free :) Thank you all!!! The day has gone really well up to a few minutes ago and the then wave of a crave has come over me. I have to go to my AA meeting tonight and this can be where I can get into trouble. I am not going to give in, but it does have me concerned. My friend that is quitting with me and he will be there, so that will be good. Besides I can't give in I have to stay with Gonadoit ;p Anyway I just want to post and see if I can get some relief of writing out my thoughts. Thanks guys. Have a nice evening and I will check back in when I get home. Stay Strong Sparky. You can pull this off and it sure sounds like Marie knows where you are. Sparky, Keep at it! What are you using for coping mechanisms? Make sure you have this on you at all times and rely on that friend to help keep you from jumping ship! We are proud of you, so keep going :) Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
