Gonna, The reason WHY you lit up isn't important. But please understand that drama and angst will happen whether you smoke or not, and smoking won't solve a damn thing... you know that. So what will you do the next time drama strikes your life? You've got to be ready for that because I promise you that it will. No matter what happens in life, smoking must not be an option if you are quit. If you quit, then you don't smoke. No exceptions. So what will it take you to make smoking no longer an option? Where did you go wrong in your preperation? Don't answer these here... just think about it. I'm glad you're back up to go at it again. Way to get right back to the quit! Crave the Quit! Gonnadoit sorry to hear that, please get back on the wagon right away, now this is just an idea, please come here and post before you relapse, wait for 10 answer before doing anything. Maybe the crave will have gone by then. Life in general can be overwhelming at times and some are going through difficult things but smoking doesn't help ,it only makes it worse. I'm sorry don't want to give you a big sermon here but I feel for you and I think you should feel for you also, think of yourself and protect your quit at all cost. Do you have your 10mg and 5mg patches yet? do it slowly going down as it's trying, believe me I know. All I have to add is Gonna if I can do it you can do it also. Sincerely wishing you well ((hugs)) Marie

Gonnadoit, I'm behind you all the way, I am here and keeping an eye on you, if you feel you're being watched, you're right, it's me hanging around to check on you. Now be good, have you got the patch on? Gonna I'm telling you if you do it slowly keep your patch on ,use your coping mechanisms and take good care of yourself, you can do this, you've done it before.... Take care of yourself, I hear a lot of giving to your family and job, now that's the way it's suppose to be, but you have to take care of yourself, you deserve to be healthy and smoke-free, take some time to pamper yourself, some alone time. Stay away from smokers and smoking areas. I was so worried about coming off the patch, I just took off the 7mg after 2 weeks and I swear don't feel a thing, I feel so relieved, I had a garage sale today and my 2 smoking friends came, they are so nice, they go far from me to smoke and it brings up a trigger for 2 secs and then I just reming myself that it's such an addiction, that I feel sorry for them having to isolate themself to puff, and then come back all stinky. Chin up you'll get it done, have faith. :)Marie Oh hugsss! At least you're getting right back up and trying again. Look at what triggered you, and see how you can change it next time. Don't beat yourself up, you CAN beat this for good, Andrea My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 93 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,870 Amount Saved: $441.75 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 20 Mins: 48 Seconds: 20

Back at work---Mondays suck! Work really isn't a trigger, but driving sure is. Hey! Did you know that you can put the key in the ignition, turn it, and the car starts---even WITHOUT that cigarette hanging out of your mouth? Life sure is amazing sometimes!
