Hi Serenity,
I have no fantastic advice to give you on this depression I'm afraid, since this, as you already know, is something all us quitters have to fight against, day by day. What I do have, though, is a great deal of sympathy for you in what must be a difficult situation made more difficult by the nicotine withdrawal. Well done for not reaching out for the cigarettes!!! Having a cigarette, as you know, would make no ounce of difference to the reality of what's happening. Times of change are always difficult for us creatures of habit!
I find that I am sometimes plunged into depression one day, only to wake in a much more positive light the next. The old adage, 'one day at a time' is possibly a boring one to quote here - but I find it true...
I'm having a good day today, so far - get in touch if you need me!!! You have myself and everyone else in this support group to lean on.
Sending you a big hug -
Deli
