Hi Mac. You are far from alone. There are a lot of us addicts around. Day 14 was the worse day of my quit. I still remember it. Keep taking one step at a time and don't smoke. It gets better and better as time goes on. Now it is rare that I even think of smoking. The freedom is awesome! two weeks is awesome Mac. Yes, you will have those urges for quite a while. Just go with it, take it for what it is. "I want to smoke, but I chose not to. I want to be free from this addiction" Have you done the program on this site? If not, do so. It is a wealth of knowlege for you to use in this battle against nicotine. You've got a great quit going! Hey Mac - I lost my suck meter. I can't remember exactly when it happened but after a while I didn't need it any more. Now that I have 6 months under my belt it's just easy to not think about smokes. It gets easier - it really does. Hang in there - you'll make it.
