Do you know why or what is triggering you to crave Nascarfan? If you can figure that out it would probably help you to conquer that crave for good. Until then don't you forget your coping skills. You are part of May Company ... you're not allowed to cave. heh! I am sorry to hear you are feeling down. Have you been rewarding yourself? NascarFan, It is so funny that you posted this ~! I have been feeling the same way lately- especially this weekend. It has been a combination of things... my BF was out of town ... I was alone a lot.. an unrequited love was telling me on MSN that my love for him was not as unrequited as I thought it was .. it has been raining like crazy... I got caught in a really bad downpour and thought I was gonna die.. my car got flooded on the inside (about 2 inches of standing water on the passenger side) and no one was there to take me to work ... I tried driving to work and felt a few electric shocks when I stepped on the brake or accelerator.... I thought I was gonna die, again... my BF came back and has not been very attentive... Work has been hellish. Life has been hard. I have been gaining weight despite my exercise and diet. Yes, life has been bad. I have wanted to smoke a couple of times. This weekend, I was so on the edge. No kidding. On Sat night and on Sunday, it was super, super hard. I had to keep breathing and keep myself occupied... Maybe it is just the time for us to start craving. Maybe it is a combination of factors. But I am so proud that I have not smoked and I don't want that to go away. Hang in there with me, Nascar, we can do this together. We quit on the same day, you and I. NascarFan - Quench that burn girl! You are not smoking! You have come too, too far to go back now...go back and read some of your threads at the beginning - do you want to go through that again????? I know that you don't! Go back to the Quit Program Workbook and work it again. Remind yourself of all the great reasons that you quit. You are owning this quit girlfriend and I am not letting you go back to the "dark" side!LOL!! You are doing such an awesome job! I am so proud of you and knew that you could do this from the very beginning. Have you rewarded yourself lately?? Could be time for a good one...a massage, a new Kasey Kahne t-shirt??? Kick that nic-demon to the curb! I am behind you all the way!
