Hi Kate, Isnt it funny how we thought we were relaxing by having a cigarette. I dont ever really remember feeling relaxed having one lol. Tomorrow is a new day, you have inspired me to go for a walk tonight when i get home from work. Im tired of moping around the house on my own feeling sorry for myself. I may even start swimming or something. I hope you have a better day at work tomorrow :) PrincessC :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/11/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 16 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 369 Amount Saved: $163.2 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 7 Mins: 0 Seconds: 52

turned out really bad at work!! I mean REALLY bad..however i went home, took a nap, walked the dog and during my boring-want a cig moment before to get ready and go out i was just lying on the bed RELAAAAXING... it was hot and i didn't want to do anything more. Yes,i can relax now because i always remember when i wanted to relax i thought,ok,let's have one cig now and in ten mins you'll be resting.. but this stressfull, fast cig was just making my rest disappear! Thank you guys.... have a good day all of you.... thank you guys... i'm still in a bad mood..with a BAD headache. But i'm controlling it. Monday afternoon starts my vacation! Going to an island called Folegandros (near Santorini for those who know) and i'm staying for one week. I want to leave everything behind.. Cigs are already left behind. Hope you're all doing good. i will talk to you soon. I was never relaxed as a smoker. I didn't know how to relax. I'd always tell people that I was the type of person that always had to be doing something. What a bunch of junkie thinking talk that was! It was not that I always had to be doing something ... it was that I was a smoker. I didn't have time to relax. Being a smoker is truly exhausting. I'm so glad I don't smoke anymore and it's hard to believe that I ever did. *kicks back and props feet up* Learning how to relax is a wonderful new 'skill' for me. I'm getting better at it every day! ;p My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/12/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 76 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,298 Amount Saved: $304 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 10 Mins: 38 Seconds: 58

Great job for resisting! Your mind set is positive and that goes a long way in a quit! Well kate, It may have been a bad day at work, but it was a good day for you because you handled it without smoking! Another victory for the non smoking memories.
