Hi Jacko, I feel the same, i just dont want to smoke. i cringe when i think of when i used to smoke. I like that i dont smoke. Wow how long will you be in Turkey for? Hi Jacko :) I went also to a BBQ and I sat next to a smoker. I looked at her and saw smoke coming out of her mouth. That made me laugh. I didn't bother me at al. Now I know that I made the best choice ever. People who smoke always think that you can have no fun at a party when you don't smoke. WRONG!!!! I had more fun than ever. Hi All, This is my 19 day log in coz Im off in the morning to Turkey and I just wanna say thanks to all of you. Yesterday was my best man`s wifes 30th party and they had a BBQ-loads of smokers and they was astonished that I quit-they was givin me loads of support and accolades. The drunker they all got, the more they just cant believe it seeing me all day, drinking, havin fun and not smoking. Yesterday, now made me realise even more, that I just dont wanna smoke. It was crazy the way THEY light one up after another; that was me last bbq I bet-SAD!!!! So I went back to work(MY BAR) a little tipsy and it was packed out, I worked for 4 hours and then sat with a beer at the end of the night and give myself a massive pat on the back!! Emptied all the ashtrays(YUK), glasses, and washed em all, locked up, went home, got in bed and had the .................... "biggest smile on my face ever". I want you all to feel this way!! Hi Jacko, Know how you feel mate! I had some friends around yesterday afternoon (and the afternoon lasted until 11pm!) - all smokers - lots of beer and wine being drunk, but did I feel like a cigarette - not at all. By the way, the point of this post is not to have a 'personal conversation', but to show everybody out there that the quit doesn't have to be a struggle all the time.
