First let me say that I know everyone reacts differently to the thing that I am going to say helps me. I sometimes will search out and read the relapse or slips posts. It helps me to stay on the course I am on. In the beginning of my quit reading those posts might have made me think of smoking, but now when I read one it just reinforces why I never want to have "just one". When you think about it there has never been a relapse or slip post where the person says "I am so happy I smoked". No, they are always very unhappy that they smoked and very unhappy that they either have to start over, or can't seem to get started again. So I am just saying that it is all in how you look at something. Next time you read one of these posts, look at it that way and it might help you. Thank you also to the people who are honest enough to post when they have slipped. At least now you know that you are helping at least one person stay quit.
