Sparky get back to it. You said something that struck a cord with me.About smoking again and it not being enjoyable. I think with everything you learn to quit. That smoking will never be as it was. Crave the Quit. Best os luck to ya. Hi Sparky; I am so very glad to hear from you. This may sound cheeky, but I've been kind of waiting for you to come back. Once we get a few quits under our belt, smoking is just ruined for us isn't it! Quitting again w/SSC was actually a bit easier the 2nd time. Once I got past feeling sorry for myself and asked for help, I started what I feel is a stronger quit. I'm much calmer this time around (at least for the moment ;)). And working w/a SSC mentor has made a world of difference. As someone here once shared, "That which we persist in doing becomes easier, not that the task itself has become easier, but that our ability to perform it has improved". Welcome back Sparky! You made my day. Hope you guys won't give up on me. Seems like I have more starts that long term quits. I am planning on stopping Friday. I am so sick of smoking. This time out has not been enjoyable at all. I keep comming here and see all the progress everyone has and just want to kick myself. I have started a journal and counting the hours. Will be back on Friday. Sparky, No many how many times it takes, don't quit quitting. Most of us have tried to quit several times. I really can't tell you what was different this time for me. I was just sick of smoking, found support and went through it one day at a time. You will do it do. Don't ever give up on yourself. You are fighting for your life and it is worth it. See you Friday.
