tomprrow is my 3 month aniversary!!!!! 3 whole months smoke free ;) yesterday was the last day of the patches, i'm not on any now !!! i find i still think of the ciggies, when does it stop?? i don't crave,it's just there at the back of my mind, mind you i did smoke for 38 years so it's not going to go away just like that is it? don't worry i'm not going to have one! i can't stand the smell now, when my son goes out for a drink and comes back the smell sickens me, he doesn't smoke, he hates it, he was always on at me to give up, i don't want to go back to that! when i'm talking to anyone i always know if they smoke or not, it's the smell :gasp: i must of smelt awful! yuk!! Be careful now. If you have been on the patch you have been giving old nic at least a partial hit. It sounds like you are successfully battling the psychological part of smoking (for me, worst aspect) but don't forget there is a physiological part of quitting smoking too (the nicotine withdrawal) Expect old nic to sneak up and attempt to club you over the head.
