The nicotine is out of your system in 72 hours, but cigarettes have over 4000 chemicals in them. Who knows how long it takes for some of them to clear out?
Even if they are all gone, though, they were there for years and your body got used to them. Now they are gone and your body has to readjust. That will take time.
During that time, just think of all these feelings as signs of healing, because that is what they are. No matter how bad they make you feel, they are ultimately good. Usually, the best medicine tastes the worst.
Keep up the good quit, Jdtigg. The latter choice is definitely the best.
