Hello! I started smoking around age 15 - 30 years ago. i have been preparing myself to quit for the last 6 months. And actually went two weeks one time. And should I say torturing myself, hiding and generally being stupid. I had my last cig last night around 9 pm and I am glad to be here. I started Wellbutrin about 10 days ago and got some gum for emergencies. I don't think i will need it though unless i get in a rough place. Today hasn't been too bad, my tough spots are the weekends. I plan on staying close to home this weekend, maybe just hide out. Thanks for all the support and I look forward to being a Mais Oui quitter!!! Welcome from me also You have achieved your first big milestone by going one full day - well done, we all know how tough that first day can be. Don't be worried about hiding away, I did exactley the same at first and even now if I go out to the pub I drink mostly water with ice just to change what I did as a smoker. Stay close to this site and we will be here if you want to scream and shout and we will be here to celebrate you next smoke free days with you. Joanne :) :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/3/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 28 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 719 Amount Saved: 140 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 12 Mins: 51 Seconds: 40

Hi my3girls, Congrats on your almost-first-day! Good to hear that you have done so much preparation as it will definitely help you succeed. Add support and a postive attitude and you've got this quitting thing nailed! Don't forget to come up with some rewards for all your new milestones especially during these first weeks. I'm sure with three girls you've got your hands full so those rewards really can help. We know you can do this!
