Hi Zada, CybrDuke is absolutely right about the exercise. Please tell me, are you on patches or going it alone? Best wishes Mr Ed :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 74 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,230 Amount Saved: 555 Life Gained: Days: 12 Hrs: 9 Mins: 33 Seconds: 27

Hi Zada, Welcome to SSC, you have found a home that you have been looking for, congratulations on those 4 wonderful days..I know that you must be very proud. We at SSC are very proud that you make the choic to quit smoking. It is the most important decision that you will probably make. I guess that you are finding out that this journey sure has it's up's and down's. But if you hold on it will get better. So stay strong and fight with all you have. I also have a problem with sleeping still, I don't know if I have just let it take it's course because sometimes it is 2:00am - 3:00am before I go to sleepl. I have always been a night person but not staying up until 3:00am. I try not to worry too much about it, but I know that it is not good because I sleep late in the morning. I don't have to get up at any certain time. I bet that you do. You might want to ask your Dr and see if he would have any suggestions. I haven't tried the Tylenol PM, but it might work for you. I might go get me some. You stay strong, and remember YOU CAN DO THIS..... :) Be blessed, SUNSHINE My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 110 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,886 Amount Saved: $385 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 23 Mins: 7 Seconds: 45

Zada, Hi and congrat's on 4 days. Unfortunately this is part of the withdrawal symptoms that many go through. You might think about some Tylenol PM to help during this time. One word - Exercise. Not too late in the day either. Work out at lunch time take a walk after dinner burn some calories and you'll sleep better. I'ts working for me, it might work for you. I do find if I wait too long at nigth before I do the treadmill I have too much energy and can't fall asleep well so that's why I say don't do it close to bed time. Good luck.
