Cravings

Day 2****This is the part I hate...yesterday I actually went and bought ice cream for the kids and found myself buying some for me. Usually I can live without it, but yesterday I really wanted some, at least I got the diet kind and only had 1, but I felt guilty to my diet. However; it is better than smoking, in my eyes. I can always go for a walk afterwards and work off the calories. Thank you everyone for your support Carmen

Today I have the complete munchies!!!! Everything looks good, even my daughter's puffy cereal!!!! I did have a slip today, I got really angry and did not utilize my resouces. I am a little upset that I took the easy way out, but this will not happen again. I keep going outside and taking a deep breath and noticing a little difference already. So if this means 30 mins extra at the gym, when going for walks taking the stroller and going up and down the small hills so be it. I worry about my weight because I am already overweight, but if I did it once, I know I can do it again. Live, Love, Laugh, and Smoke Free Days ahead Carmen

I know, it seems to me the first few days have just been me counting the hours between meals. I've been good with the snacking (actually eating fruit again!) but I broke down today and got some take out chinese to celebrate 4 days. Well hopefully this too shall pass, good luck! Carmen - It sounds like a good treat to me and at least you got the low cal type and only 1 scoop! You've got some willpower! I'm proud of you! It probably would be good to have some sugar free hard candy on hand to pop in your mouth when you are craving something sweet. And the excercise makes it all worth it doesn't it? You probably will be running after all the smoke clears from the lungs! Great Job!!
