..just fighting the little "tricks" my brain pulls on me. It says "Time for a smoke"...and then I have this little feeling of disappointment a second later when I realize I don't smoke anymore. Its funny how my brain really wants me to go have one....I'm actually fighting my own brain.

Shark,
I know what you're talking about here. Give it time, it'll pass.
I have a name for this phenomena, but I can't remember it. I know it just feels like a switch is actuated - a split second bend in the brain - a physical feeling. After a week and a half or so after I quit, I noticed that I had automatically learned to cope by taking a very deep breath. Just don't let yourself stress out during these times, just chill and it will pass.
Hope this shed some light on it for you.
