Way to stay strong Cuddles. Just remember how nasty that cigarette will taste. Thats what I do when I look at my husbands smokes and think I want one, I just don't want that taste in my mouth again. You guys are all Awesome. You all give me the strength to want to stay a non-smoker. I may not be posting as much for a while, because I just got my book by Allen Carr. So I will be spending some of my spare time reading. Bless you all Cuddles It's better to be a non-smoker with an occasional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit...... I almost slipped again. Hubby went outside and left his pack sitting on the counter. I took one out and and grabbed a lighter, then I just sat there looking at it. Then I thought about everyone at SSC and how many days I have not smoked. Then I put it back and did not smoke it. This is still emotionaly ruff. But I have to stay quit. I will get through this. Hey this is exactly the kind of thing that will help you heal faster. Okay listen 2me Cuddles this is important. REWARD your self-control soon okay? Something GOOD that you will REALLY REALLY enjoy and you do it for not smoking THAT CIGARETTE. During the reward tell yourself this is for "the one I put back." It might seem silly but your brain needs this kind of 'exercise'. OFTEN. Are you following me? I'm dead serious. (actually I'm 'healthy and more alive than ever' but still serious!) For the most part. ;) All the best~ 2 My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/20/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 264 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,829 Amount Saved: $1320 Life Gained: Days: 25 Hrs: 3 Mins: 34 Seconds: 59

Well done Cuddles - The main thing is you DID NOT smoke. You WILL get through this - it must be so hard, living with a smoker - but you can get through this if you WANT to. Think of how many days you have gone, without smoking, you don't want to wreck that now - do you? Good Luck Amber :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/24/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 382 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 11,469 Amount Saved: $3800.9 Life Gained: Days: 50 Hrs: 10 Mins: 6 Seconds: 16
