A question about very slow hours....

18 years ago 0 1521 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Struggling, Good question. I guess if you multiply the hours saved by two to making it 20 hours - close to one day, I believe it would be 10 smoke-free days. Make sense? ;p Take Care, Melanie __________________ The SSC Support Team

Question.... I'm on day #5, but have only added 10 hours to my life according to my quit meter. I know, 10 more hours of night is precious. I'm just wondering how long it takes to get a day???!!!! I'm feeling shakey right now and am grasping at any positive reinforcement possible (e.g. I keep checking my quit meter!). Struggling - Three Cheers!!! You're doing great... In the challenging times, go and find something to really get 'lost' in - a book, a movie, plant a flower, write a letter, take a walk or hot, take a nap, call a friend, soothing bath no matter what time it is:) Just DON'T SMOKE Healer:) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 34 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,218 Amount Saved: $81.6 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 12 Mins: 21 Seconds: 16

Hi. You are doing a great job. You are almost over the toughest week :) I still do look at my quit meter. I love to see it grow. Once in awhile I copy and past it to all my friends just for a little boast. Good luck and stay strong. Struggling, I guess I had never noticed the days I've gained I tend to just look at the days I have not smoked. I guess I just knew that each day I didn't smoke was adding on to my life. Some days the hours just drag by so maybe your meter is one of those slow one's. Don't worry about it. The main thing is you know that you are not smoking and that is the major one. Keep reading and posting and hang tuff and tight. Blessings and love sent your way.... I tend not to look at life gained because you will never know if it is true or not! Just concentrate on how good you feel right now and be proud of getting through 5 days because that is no mean feat.
