Congrats on one more day smoke free. I ate a bit too much today (my first day) but I know that its just getting me through my first rough spots. I have a list of things to do when I am craving but I think the first few days I am going to take it easy and concentrate on reprogramimg my brain.

Hey DD, I say that everyday. Im glad the day is over. The first 3 days I slept ALOT. Instead of trying to deal with my cravings I took a nap to turn my brain off. It worked great. I'm still taking naps when I can to help me threw my day. Keep up the great work. Had a bad crave yesterday, but I just kept telling the junkie to back off...I'm not a smoker any more. It went away and I felt great. I'm looking for a job and am so happy I don't have to deal with the smoking issue (like not smoking cause I don't want to smell for interview ect...). I can't tell you how glad I am this day is over, and I made it through. I thought about smoking, but didn't. Didn't get off the couch either, but who cares? I didn't smoke for one more day.

I'm with you. I love the positive, supportive energy I get from being on this site. I can't believe I'm still doing ok, but I am. I just do what ever I need to do...sleep, eat, yell, and last night my hubby and I went on a very long walk. At the end he said, "you're not breathing hard (we live in a hilly area)." I thought about it, he was right. after just this short time I'm breathing better. Yeah! Hi DD, For the 1st week I didn't get out of Bed :) .. If staying on the couch keeps you from not smoking, stay there. Just do what works.. Just remember.. Your Doing It!!
