CONGRATULATIONS THENEWME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and welcome to SSC. This is the best place to be for anyone who wishes to quit smoking. There are many quitters here who have overcome all kinds of problems and still have successful "quits" because of SSC. WE try to stick together and help one another over the rough spots. My mantra has been N.O.P.E. which stands for Not One Puff Ever - because always before when I tried to quit I thought just one puff or just one cigarette wouldn't hurt - but it wasn't long till instead of one puff it was one pack. Congratulations on 7 smoke-free days and wishing you many, many more. Hey Newby... One week? AWESOME! Great job. You must be pretty proud of yourself. Don't forget to reward yourself - you deserve it. What you're doing is very hard to do - but you're doing it anyway! That takes guts. Promise to come here and post if you're having a tough time. Promise you wont smoke until you post and you've received replies. No matter what - remember that you are tough enough to quit. Way to go Newby! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 46 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,625 Amount Saved: $391 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 12 Mins: 41 Seconds: 27

Why Hello NewYou, Congraulations on 1 week, And You didn't think it was possible, Will I am still saying that after being quit for 3 years, just didn't think it would happen to me, because I was in love with cigerettes, Love for something in Your life is hard to wean Yourself from, But when it say's Hazardous to Your Health, You had better take notice, because it is True, I was just to in love to try to break away, But the Good People on this website lead me through this dark tunnel into the daylight, I suppose You could say that You will be following in my footsteps, I love my new lifestyle of living today, wouldn't make a u-turn for all the tea in China as they say, I applaud You for excercising my Friend, for in order to get rid of Your smoking addiction, its nice to replace it with something far much better, like excercising or dieting, and eating healthy foods, Take care, and don't let go of that Tiger's tail, Smokless In Oklahoma :)
