Smogfree Shamrocks Week of 4/3

18 years ago 0 9 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I think what I enjoy most this week about being smogfree are the smells... the new good smells my nose never detected because it was always full of the stinky smell of smoke. The spring flowers will start coming up soon and I am soooo looking forward to actually being able to smell the fragrance of flowers for the first time in my adult life lol. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 14 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 583 Amount Saved: $70 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 14 Mins: 13 Seconds: 36

Hi everyone. Hope you all have a good weekend and are still smoke-free. I had a wonderful weekend and looking forward to the week again. It is so great to be free of the cigarettes and able to enjoy the little things in life - liking talking walks, playing with my child, etc. So what is everyone else enjoying about being smogfree? Hi everyone - hope everyone hashad a good Monday. I think the thing I have enjoyed the most so far is that feeling that you get at the end of the day - that "Wow! I did it AGAIN today!!" Some days (the harder ones) it is sheer amazement, others (the easier days) its pure smugness!!!! Feels good though! Well, I do say that I am proud that I didnt choose to smoke this weekend. I just dont feel that proud today. The dreadful mind games. Not really with smoking, but of depression. Re-thinking life and its purpose. I try to be so strong. Sometimes, it is just plain exhausting. But hey, I'm not smoking. Hello young shamrocks. You're doin great. Follow in this old farts footsteps and soon you'll have a year in. I'm so glad now that I've quit smoking. And I'm pretty sure the Mrs. is also. It's tough but you can do it....
