Parola, The decision to quit smoking in itself is such a huge step in the right direction. It is important when deciding to quit, that we quit for the right reasons and that we truly feel we are ready to quit smoking. Honesty with one self is key to a successful quit. Be true to yourself and your endeavor to quit smoking and you will successfully succeed. If you have not, please take advantage of our free quit program as you access your glove compartment when logging on to our site. This program will help you through each step of the quitting process. Remember the SSC Support Team is always here to help you with your quit. Please keep us posted. Melanie ______________________ The SSC Support Team

Hello Ron, thanks for waiting seeing me back.:) I hope I can keep quit. I do not have a lot of "life" support around me - people or never smoked, or they smoke still - thus your company and solidatarity is really saving my days:) I am sure I could not do without your attention. Hi 4my2girls, thanks ... reasonable... I am surrounded with substitutes, sunflower -seeds, gums, sweeties, thees, - My stomach is doing strange, but mostly I am not really able to do anything longer than a halve an hour. Than comes the restlesness - the craving - which I have to tackle somehow. Sometimes I find it interesting, sometimes it is a bit scary this journey - i begun to realize so many things, which I was not aware of it. :)Parola My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/28/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 5 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 103 Amount Saved: $32.5 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 13 Mins: 1 Seconds: 30

Thanks, - only I seem to be very passive, doing nothing- except thinking on cg-s. It is a verynarrow state of mind. A technical question: i did downloaded IM, but when I want to extract it, it tells me, I need a version of 1.1... and something more. But when I go to microsoft - I do not find this version. Where exactly do I have to go? thans for all your support. Hi, The last 2 days I worked on the countryside... and I coped somehow. If was a store there, I surely bought a cg- for just in case... I came back yesterday- and now, as my complete brain-activity is occupied by smoking- I do not even have any other thinking. I use patches, and still it is very humiliating. Hi Lizzie, thanks for your advice. I certainly do not buy any cg-s, my earlier experience learned me that if I have something around me, I smoke it. Concentrate on something else.... this seems to me impossible. Actually it looks like i do not have any brains to concentrate with it...:) Thanks for your attention. Ron,I have no idea yet how IM is working, but probably I will get some instructions. I am also very emotional - crying - and a lot of stuff is coming up - hidden behind more than 20 years smoking, a friend said, that is the suffering of an addict - ok - but still - am I able to deal with it at all? Here is it almost midnight - what time is it there? take care, P My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/28/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 33 Amount Saved: $6.5 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 4 Mins: 16 Seconds: 21

Hello everyone, Today wa the first morning without a morning cg. the patches which i use, help - they take away some of the urge. The thought remains. It is difficult to maintain daily activities - sometimes I just sit down - and wait that the idea is fading away... It helped me already a lot to imagine myself as a not smoker - that y picture i try to keep alive - instead of a pure, craving creature:) Thanks for the idea of the post-t:) ok. I have to accept, I need help to remember - thus I repeat it in myself - "I am not smoking" - also when I have no craving.
